Calling Freddie the greatest front-man in history, is akin to calling Mark Twain the greatest author in history.

Sure, he was great. But, there were many greats; just different.

Sure. You can put ‘one of’. To put it another way: There’s no aspect of being a front man that Freddie Mercury was in the least bit bad at. Plus, he was actually an amazing musician too. And he worked well with the rest of the band.
