David Sirota lives in Dudebro Never-Never Land. This differs from Never-Never land as Peter Pan at least understood he had a real enemy in Captain Hook and Pan knew he couldn’t push the Indians too far. By contrast, Sirota lives in a fact-free world where he thinks he’s always right and all those in power have to do is say the right thing in the right way and everything will magically work itself out right. Except of course for a handful of villains who will at that point lose all power.

This view resembles nothing so much as a poor-quality children’s cartoon.
