About 35 years ago, one of the owners of a house in my neighborhood painted their house teal, and accented it with (large) pink elephants. Oh, and there was a yard full of pink flamingos. It was done in protest of a few neighbor’s behavior - hypocrisy, to use one word.

I have a high bar, now, for “bad house paint choice.”
