A lot of Trump’s supporters are people with minimal skills; the skills necessary to participate in the global economy are what they do not possess, and deep down, they are acutely aware of this fact, and you can hear this helpless rage in their incoherent ravings. Without White Privilege, they’re well and truly fucked, because the bulk of them sure as hell couldn’t compete on their merits.
