I was bored and looking for something to binge on a while back and just randomly started watching the Murdoch Mysteries. Objectively I am not sure it was a very good show, but for some reason I just couldn’t stop watching it. Also, it is Canadian not American if that makes any difference, set in early 20th century Toronto.

I entirely enjoyed that series. Also loved Ripper Street, set about the same time but in London. Much edgier.
