Most people are stupid. I accepted this in the 80s, but foolishly got optimistic since. Trump voters fixed that.

I really really thought that after Obama’s two 50% plus wins, we were headed on the right track nationally. This country still has a long way to go and I blame the Republican party and conservative movement for fostering up resentment.
