So it was my birthday the other day and even though I’m unemployed and don’t exactly have lots of spare cash, I ordered a present for myself. It’s explicityly a finger in the eye of the GOP and it’s pretense of patriotism and freedom.

Back in the early days of Bush the Lesser’s gulf wars, the French were derided for not wanting to go along with our stupidity. A lot of crap was given them over their relatively early surrender in WWII, “Only dropped Once” as a slight on their courage, with no thought given to the 1.4 million Poilus who died defending their homeland in almost 5 years of the most brutal warfare the world has ever seen during WWI. So fuck the GOP.
