Citing three officials said to be familiar with the matter, the report says the documents are being reviewed and will be censored upon release. Trump wants some information, such as text messages between officials on the investigation, to be declassified immediately—because he said he suspects it will reveal a bias against him. The agencies want to guard against revealing classified sources and methods, so they plan to redact the material. However, Trump has the power to override the agencies and declassify material on his own if he’s unsatisfied by the level of detail they provide.

Duly noted at the end of the blurb that Trump does have the power to override the DOJ and the FBI’s decision, but it would nonetheless be a slap in the face to outright defy him.
