When my wife worked at Digital Equipment, she and another engineer were dealing with a piece of equipment, where the manual actually said some setting was to be set in furlongs per micro-fortnight.
The actual conversion factor is 1mph=0.0003720237562634 furlongs per fortnight.
Your constant is inverted. 1 fpf = .0003732 mph <==> 1 mph = 2687.995 fpf. You can ask google to do that conversion.
