Yeah, I was independent for about five minutes until I realized that meant I couldn’t vote in primaries. Then I became a Democrat. I mean it is your privilege to refuse to be in a party, but it is the party’s privilege to not invite your opinion on their candidates.

Yeah, I can’t think of a single virtue to registering as an Independent. It’s as if people think they can’t vote for a candidate of the opposite party in a general election….
