The thing at the moment I think is going to be really fatal to Trump is that all these missteps are occurring right at the outset of what should be his most lucrative fundraising period.

That wouldn’t matter so much if it wasn’t for the other misstep of deliberately pissing other Republicans off, by doing things like backing a primary challenger against the speaker of the house.

In the Republican primary, Trump was able to do all of the campaigning that was needed by himself, as the voting in states was staggered and there were relatively few campaign events, or voter drives needed.

The general election is a totally different beast. Hillary and Kaine are going to be doing events almost non-stop….as are all of their surrogates, supporters, congressional and senate candidates. All of those people will be working together to get each other elected.

Trump has basically only got Trump……and occasionally Pence is allowed to speak, but only if he gets permission first.

I really don’t think Trump is going to be physically capable of doing this every day for the next 3 months.
