I am torn between DACA and trumps vanity wall.

The DACA kids deserve better. Living in, what I can only imagine as being abject fear every single day of their lives, is unimaginable.

And, even if he wall is funded, it will be in litigation that last longer than trump every will (spit piss on his grave).

But I do not want to give him an inch.

Now that last part is possibly me being at the FUCK YOU NO MATTER WHAT YOU SAY OR DO stage of this maladministration.

But those kids.

So, give him his money, but not just for DACA, but add in humane border treatment, no more private prisons profiting from this debacle, and a return to normal asylum policies and practices and I would fund it.

Of course, this is rational which means it will never fly.

I think something like this will fly with Trump. Maybe not the Republican Party, but if Trump agrees because he gets his “wall” the Republican Senators will have a tough time not going along because the Trump base will eat them up.

I, like many others here, think Trump just wants a wall with his name on it. He wants that monument to himself because he probably thinks it will stand forever and it will always be associated with him.

As soon as he is gone, one way or another, take his name off of it. If it ever gets built like you said.

A thought. He thinks stealth tech is cool. Remember those jets you can’t see? How about we tell him it will be a stealth wall. You can’t see it, but it is there.

And really, it wouldn’t be a complete lie. Everyone knows the answer for border security would be a combination of things like cameras, detecting sensors, maybe even advances satellite tracking. Stealth!
