I’m still very confused as to how/why Joe Rogan became a thing. I could never stand his commentary in UFC, and looking at his IMDB page, he hasn’t really done anything else.

I dunno, but god help me, I hear folks both on the far right and the very-online left treat him as some kind of god-prophet of the common man, and it’s genuinely fucking upsetting that he has as much purchase as he does, especially with as many problematic quotes as he has and how buddy buddy he’s been with guys like Jordan Peterson, Tim Pool, and other amazingly chuddish figures.
