Yes. The real-world sabotage comes in with reduced OSH workforces performing far too few inspection and enforcement actions. Even the Feds don’t field more than a gesture, usually triggered by catastrophic accidents that can’t be ignored. Much depends on the administration in DC. Labor Secretaries like Robert Reich did a good job; Republican DoLs sit on their thumbs.

Yep. A few years ago, I saw construction workers without fall protection working on the roof of the house next door, and I could not get an inspector to come out and cite them.
