Yeah, I figure that’s going to be the story they go with: “He got lucky.” Not that voters soundly rejected a BS recall effort, or that they didn’t bite on GQP grievance politics, it’s that Larry Elder self-combusted and so Gavin Newsom lucked into winning a recall vote that the “liberal media” believes he would have lost to better candidate.
