I thought the sarcasm waranted an upding. Obviously there are plenty of folks who use the N word disparingly all over the country not just the south.

Fair enough, but LVQ’s post in my opinion didn’t seem to open the door to the sarcasm that Satt brought to the table, since he never implied (in my reading of it) that only people in the South could use it disparingly.
