I sometimes wish a Dem candidate would say something like, we can cut spending considerably. Since the Republicans really hate “entitlement programs”, than you don’t get to participate. We’ll give Medicare and welfare to registered Democrats only.

Well, considering it worked that way in “some” countries for some time, I don’t think we want to to that imagery brought up.
