Notice Erickson says he’s part of the “53% of Americans who are subsidizing” the other 47%. I assume this refers to the nearly half of Americans who don’t pay federal income taxes.

Can Erickson really be this stupid? That lower 47% pays sales taxes, gas taxes, payroll taxes, and in some cases property taxes. That bottom 47% combined owns only 1.5% of the nation’s wealth. How much more could they possibly pay? You can’t squeeze blood from a stone.
