I’ve gotta admit that I’m rather enjoying watching the wingnuts beginning to realize how sharply the shoe pinches when it’s on the other foot. I only wish no one had been killed or injured in order for it to happen.

Problem is that they’re not learning anything. In their minds, this is just another “random shooting,” with a “mentally ill” shooter, and the victims are “no angels.” At the same time, they see themselves as victims, that they’re being unfairly accused of being responsible for the shooting with their opposition to abortion and calls for “something” to be done. And the media, in an effort to keep alive this idea that we have two viable political parties, is humoring the idea that the motive of Dear is “unclear” and not taking even two seconds to suggest that all the anti-choice rhetoric had anything to do with setting him on his murderous rampage.
