There’s apparently an actual rabbinic court that answers space questions.

If Sabbath is from sundown to sundown, does that mean on the space station Sabbath is only 90 minutes and it happens every 10.5 hours?
(answer: NO!! Sabbath on the space station follows Houston time. For Earthbound people where light/dark aren’t on a 24-hour cycle, Sabbath in Antarctica or above the Arctic circle follows your hometown sunset.)

If my great-great-grandson lives on Mars, how will he know when to observe Jewish holidays?
(answer: History holidays, like Hannukah or Purim or Shoah day, follow the Earth calendar. Season holidays, like New Year or a harvest festival, will follow a to-be-created Martian calendar. Sabbath is still every 7th day, even though the days are a slightly different length.)
