There are no words that can describe what I feel. But I will try anyway and I’m sure to step on some toes while doing it. If I do then remember that while I was writing this I was listening to Al Green’s “L-O-V-E”. That might mean something to you.

This is disgusting. It angers me to no end. It is no less of a terrorist act than was the bombing in Oklahoma City. This doesn’t mean that the act is worse in and by itself. Just that the act, the very meaning of the act, is exactly the same. To create and spread fear among a specific group. In this case it’s the physicians and nurses that handle abortions in our society. Abortions which are legal. Taste that word. L E G A L. There’s nothing illegal about what Dr Tiller was doing per se. (I won’t go in to the ethical argument, most of the people who want to discuss that tend to end up talking about books I don’t believe in and invisible men-in-the-sky, which has always struck me as a rather unorthodox version of appeal to - an imaginary - authority)
All of these physicians, nurses (and countless other staffers at clinics) are the targets of this. As is their immediate families. Someone wants them to FEAR. And that is nothing less than terrorism. Nothing less. In fact it is the very definition of terrorism. Now. Let me be perfectly clear. I am all for freedom. Freedom of religion. Freedom of (all!) speech. Etc. You all know the drill. What I am starting to get fed up with are all these religious people (regardless of affiliation) who KEEP telling everyone else what they can and can’t do. Who spread fear and engage in more or less direct hate-mongering - and YES this goes for EVERY major religion out there regardless of whether it’s christians, muslims, hindus or buddhists. The only religions I don’t see spreading this kind of vile crap is the church of the sub-genius and the church of the spaghetti monster.
And statements like the one above is NOT AN IOTA BETTER than some of the crap I have seen coming from people like CAIR. I will say that again. IT’S THE SAME EFFING CRAP.
Now, to all you nice, warm and friendly religious folks out there that are pro-life in the non-murdering sense - I know, this is not you.

But the people who harass women outside of clinics, who threaten, who hurt and ultimately in some cases kill others for their “cause” can (excuse my french) go straight to hell (which coincidentally is pretty close to Gardemoen, the airport outside of Oslo, Norway) as far as I am concerned. You are no better than suicide bombers.

And if you think that these doctors are murderers then I suggest you argue your case with your elected representative instead of standing around in the street acting NO BETTER than the Black Panthers that we have all seen standing around looking menacing.

Now I will take a long walk and think of something else before I spontaneously self combust.
