BTW: I am stuck for hours trying to install a fitting OS, that is modern, safe and usable enough, on my (older) notebook.

I really considering doing my part for the economy and buying a new one - and worse - a Mac!

With the money they cost here, this would be a real stimulus for the economy!

Only problem: Apple does not make Toughbooks and my stuff needs to be a bit more robust than these charming Airbooks.

And Kindles are still unaviable here. :(
