Yeah, I heard that at work yesterday from a customer. He asked us, out loud, if we knew how much of a “police state” we lived in, before beginning his lament about Gibson. I just rolled my eyes and went back to work, because when you start your argument that way, it’s already obvious that you’re not interested in anything but agreement from the other party.

I’ve tried explaining to some of them that the Feds would have to drop everything else and focus exclusively on guitar-confiscating duties, but they all seem to think that Obama will donate unlimited manpower and resources to come and take away their Les Pauls.

It’s the whole ‘taking your guns’ thing redux.
