Israel isn’t prepared to go and deal with Fatah and the West Bank; they’ve been gearing up for a Gaza incursion and the bus attack is linked back to Fatah’s AAMB. Israel will for now treat that as an isolated incident and continue gearing towards going after Hamas, PIJ and PRC terror infrastructure.

I expect that the Israeli military will leave the AAMB to Israel’s border security forces to deal with. Expect more checkpoints and further tightening of the checkpoints; the Shin Bet and Mossad were both warning of terror attacks, but the intel they were gathering indicated attacks on Israeli political leaders (either by bombings or through mortar/rocket/missile fire), not necessarily a bus attack.
