Christie is currently polling highest among the likely republican’s running in 2016. To put this in context he’s polling at 17% among Reps while Hillary Clinton is polling at 65% among Dems, but still the wingnuts really want to tear him down before he can get a foothold.

Simultaneously they’re doing mental gymnastics trying to figure out how Ted Cruz can be a natural born citizen while still insisting that Obama can’t be.

especially considering that cruz’s father was also not an american citizen at the time cruz was born (born in cuba, didn’t become a citizen until 2005 en.wikipedia.org)
