VA and NJ are this year. And we’d be keeping VA not taking it. I feel good about chances in both states. I don’t know if we take back the House in 2018 or not but I do believe we gain a lot of positive momentum going in 2020 and have a great primary with lots of great candidates and then we resurrect. It’s going to be a tough four years but people seem ready and I know I am.

I corrected the year on the NJ and VA elections.

And going into 2020 is important, because the census takes place that year. State legislatures will be elected that year that will draw the electoral maps for the next ten, and have the opportunity to un-gerrymander them.
