I was hoping it would turn earlier and ride north along the Bermuda High and not make landfall at all (or, at worst, not strengthen any more if it were to make landfall, preferably well away from Florida and those areas already hit by Harvey), because I made plans a month and a half ago for my brother, my mom, and I to spend a few days in PCB next week.

The closer Irma gets and the more the various computer models are tightening up, I think we’re not only likely going to have to scrub the trip, but we may wind up taking a direct hit here in Nashville from her remnants after landfall.

It’s looking to suck for me, but that’s minor compared to what other Lizards in the projected path will have to put up with.
