But if it was a boy raped by a priest or a Little League coach, and he waited 30 years to tell anyone — nobody doubts him, because a man would just never make up such a thing. Of course it happened, he’s a hero for finally speaking up, and shame on the rest of us for being a society that made him feel compelled to stay quiet for so long.
