Another thing that disappears from store shelves in this area: flashlights. Big ones, small ones, wearable ones, even Coleman lanterns will disappear from the camping section like they were called back to the mothership. Which makes it all the more hilarious when we don’t even lose power during the storm, as opposed to all the times the rest of the year when it drops from a sudden gust of wind.
