He kind of really didn’t have a choice. Obama was popular in New Jersey and Christie had re-election the next fall. I’m not saying he only made nice with Obama because of that consideration but it wasn’t like his motivations were entirely alturistic.

Again, I only agree, but even the slight degree of civility and moderation that Christie once demonstrated is no longer seen among the GOP.
