Well WV’s representation is all R’s. Crazy, I can remember a time when their delegation was mostly D except Capito who incidentally enough now is the R Senator.Honestly, as a descendant of miners, I hate how RW that state has gotten. I’m not surprised but I’m disappointed that a state that with so much history with unions has decided to embrace a party that would throw the National Labor Relations Act and wipe it with toilet paper if they could.
They embraced the racism, faux-patriotism, and anti-tax rhetoric.
And does the beginning of the party switch correspond at all with the VRA and such? e.g. the same time as the Dixiecrats crossed the aisle.
