I don’t like that someone posted this with Maddow’s name without her permission - that crosses a big red line for me and makes me suspicious that there are ulterior motives at work.

I think the ulterior motive is that the person who secretly filmed the speech and uploaded it doesn’t want to be found out for fear of recrimination. If someone was going to fabricate a clip, it would be more damning. The scene Mitt described sounds like a typical Chinese factory from a decade or two ago. Things are changing now, but early in the boom, that’s how it was. Workers living in crowded dormitories with crowds of people trying to get in.
