Mornin’ gang…is it unemployed in here or is it just me?

Yeah, I got caught in the “how can we make our numbers look better in Q4 so we can get more VC funding?” trap. I’m actually kind of relieved. I wasn’t super-thrilled with that start up (though I’ll miss the buck-sixty they were paying me). And, as I told my wife last night, now I can go up to Lake Tahoe and get a few extra ski patrol days in during December, so I won’t be in a panic in March/April trying to make my commitment.

What to do next? Who knows? I think for the first time in my life I’m going to wait a few weeks and not just grab another job immediately…there’s no sense in looking before January anyway. The missus thinks I should look at applying my skills in a political organization. That could be fun.
