re: #179 Holidays are Family Fun Time

I wasn’t thrilled with the first of the Earthsea books by Ursula Le Guin. The writing was very good, I just didn’t care for the story.

Le Guin is a unique talent with all the good & bad that implies. I’d suggest trying either “The Left Hand of Darkness” or “Always Coming Home” as better ways to experience her writing.
