I want to say this is Trump’s a bridge too far moment but I know next week the few Republicans that condemned this will be back to praising him and attacking his opponents.

However, IF the election is a bloodbath and the GOP loses both houses, you will find a lot more Republicans willing to criticize him.

If, however, they DON’T lose the House, we’re well and truly fucked, and the degree of sycophancy we see now will look like nothing by comparison to how they’ll fellate him.
