Aw hell naw. Iโve only been to Rifle once, and that seems like once too many.
I have (rarely) seen people here open-carry a firearm. They fit into three groups: Hunters in the field, the very occasional rancher or farmer in the general store with a varmint gun holstered, or the county sheriff or deputy.
Even the gun shop owner never did the open carry thing except when he was hunting.
I have carried a covered shotgun or rifle numerous times in my life into a retail establishment, just because it is stupid to leave a weapon in your vehicle of choice. The risk of theft is just too risky.
But then, I was always taught by my Marine father that if you donโt always have control of your weapon, then you donโt deserve to posses a weapon.
