If Rick Perry and Governor Moonbeam both get elected, something disturbing is going to happen to the space/time fabric. Something to do with antimatter, portals, and maybe agitated strangers demanding our dilithium crystals.

Most people don’t know where “Moonbeam” came from. Jerry Brown said he wanted California to launch its own satellite into space — He was widely mocked and ridiculed for this suggestion, hence ‘moonbeam’…today, just about everybody who has a couple million dollars to spare has their own satellite in orbit. Brown was just 20 years ahead of his time.

And his politics are anything but liberal. He’s even somewhat libertarian (no new taxes unless the voters approve of them).
