Put those sarc tags away. For the good of the planet and the future of people everywhere, that would be worth doing.

We could start by not enabling the easier sale of tar sands by building the Keystone XL pipeline.

In truth, the Canadian Tar sands are not the tipping point regarding the future of people everywhere, they are just an obviously visible example.

I repeat, that the keystone pipeline only reduces transport costs (and transport related pollution from trucking) meaning oil company profitability; it does not change the base economics from a Canadian perspective.
