Well, I have learned that story in detail from friends. Hollyweird does not like film. Pretty much rather you just go get Reds or Arri (if you are big budget) and nice glass and have at it with your DP and DIT guys for the look. But digital has massive hidden costs. But some very powerful and capable film makers insist. And those guys made it stick, bless ‘em.

8mm is coming back and a lot of film is 16mm that becomes cable or TV drama.

So there is that.
