Yeah, I have had a go around with a little bigot about their statement that we shouldn’t let Muslims run for office. I told him that was un-constitutional. He claimed bullshit, it was not. He came back arguing that the 1st amendment gave them the ability to worship as they wish, but not the ability to run for office. So I told him I would bet him $10,000 he was wrong. He wasn’t about to go with that number but said he would go $5. So I had him look up Article 6 Paragraph 3 of our constitution.

I won the $5, but it just shows how many people only think of the amendments when talking about the constitution. They have just never bothered to read the actual boring words of the actual constitution itself.
