Really? They use aluminum bats in High School? Man, I’d want to play center field or left field - deep center and deep left for that matter if I was back in HS again.
Geebus, some HS hitters in my day, using wooden bats, could crush the ball - shudder to think of playing second base when those dudes used metal bats!

High school and college. Also Little League.

The Louisville Slugger website offers quite a number of aluminum and composite bats. IMHO, though, nothing will replace wood.

Incidentally, the Louisville Slugger company is celebrating its 125th anniversary.
