I don’t know what the sarcastic “right” was for, but you go on comparing apples and oranges and that ICBMs disappeared overnight in a cloud of unicorn farts.

Again apologies for the snark/sarcasm. Didn’t mean to be disrespectful.

I guess my opinions here are rooted a bit in terms of the fact that I came of age in an era where the threat of terrorism was/is much much greater than the threat of full on, all out nuclear power on state war.

9/11 was very real for me (I live in Brooklyn), and the threat of a nuclear missile launch seems much less likely than the threat of a repeat of Madrid, or London, etc. I suppose you might view this as naive?
