I really really thought that after Obama’s two 50% plus wins, we were headed on the right track nationally. This country still has a long way to go and I blame the Republican party and conservative movement for fostering up resentment.

This country is a fundamentally hateful, spiteful, and hostile place. That’s what the last 8-9 years have taught me. And attempts to change that and make things better will bring the full force of that hate and spite down upon your head and make you out to be history’s greatest demon ever, and make people run away all the faster because “fuck you, that’s why”.

This is never changing, apparently. It’s only going to get worse. And worse. And even fucking worse.
