Germany. Having an election on a Sunday, enabling a higher turnout. Imagine that.

Everybody has to register their primary residence. Doing so automatically registers you to vote.

Everyone is required to have a picture ID, so there is no issue with that. Just show up at the local polling place, and they cross your name off the list. My daughter says she was in an out within a few minutes.

Picture ID and registration is not the issue with US elections. It’s that they use those as tools in order to try to suppress voting by certain groups. Make getting the ID difficult. Make the registration process difficult. Or simply give those groups fewer polling places to actually vote at.
