I got the renewal notice for my drivers’ license for my birthday like 3 months ago. I kept putting it off because I had absolutely no desire to deal with the DMV. California DMVs are absolutely BRUTAL. So two hours ago, I look at the notice, and realize I can do it online if I haven’t changed my address. Silly me.

But the point is how poorly the DMV is run, and the stigma it has. If we’re headed to that, we’re fucked.
