Yeah, it is easy to be smartassed here, isn’t it? I’d not have been so glib about it in the days when I was stationed in Germany just this side of the Czech boarder. In 1982 I joined the army fresh from hight school because I expected Ronnie to start WWIII and I rather preferred the idea of dying in a tank (since my color vision is just bad enough to keep me out of helicopter flight school :( ) to dying of radiation poisoning from fallout.
