Isn’t that what any halfway serious editor does when someone on their staff fucks up this bad, makes their publication a laughingstock and recklessly subjects the entire business entity to significant exposure for civil libel charges?

Of course he won’t fire her, but people should note that going forward, as further evidence that his website isn’t actually a journalistic endeavor.
