They aren’t even good at issuing demands.
Heck, you could negotiate in good faith with a set of demands, and still not manage to piss off one or both sides.
What little political capital Kushner has is already burned to a crisp. And you can’t do this kind of work without political capital - trust. No one has a reason to trust any of these people. So, they’ll end up ignoring the entire lot of them.
I’m old enough to remember when negotiations were where you asked both sides for their conditions to achieve peace, then working to find an agreeable compromise. Apparently now it’s taking sides and expecting the other to continue to believe you’re a neutral third party arbiter.
