How DO you threaten someone who is consigned to terminal cancer and who may never be in those chambers ever again?
Children and grandchildren. Indirect threats from what the ‘other’ will do if they’re not put in their place.
Threats to reputation - to legacy. “You had a chance to bury that man’s insurance plan. instead you’ll be seen as its savior - and nobody on either side will thank you.”
