For your plan, take a look at Virgin Mobile (you’ll have to buy your iphone from them). The only drawback I’ve had with them is their network is only in the US. If you travel abroad you need to get your phone unlocked (no charge) and get a SIM card for the new country.

We very rarely travel outside the country, so that’s no problem. How’s their coverage? We do go to many obscure locations out in the wide open spaces.
